A deeply relaxing and rejuvenating traditional Ayurvedic herbal oil massage. Abhyanga is an all over body treatment that works to calm the mind and nourish the nervous system by balancing the forces of nature (doshas) within the body (primarily Vata). An essential luxury for counteracting the effects of stress and alleviating typical Vata imbalances such as dryness, fatigue and coldness. Those with other imbalances benefit as well since we are all exposed to multiple sources of stress.
Abyanga with Swedana
This treatment combines the deep relaxation of abhyanga with the purifying effects of fragrant steam infused with herbs such as lavender, mint, rose and rosemary. The steam intensifies the moisturizing effects of the oil massage while relaxing your muscles. It also releases toxicity from the body and rejuvenates the senses.
Shirodhara is a uniquely profound procedure that works specifically on balancing emotions and the activity of the mind. A calm, meditative state is created by a warm, herb infused oil gently streaming over the forehead (Ajna Chakra or third eye) creating a journey of deep relaxation and stillness. The herbal oil is infused with Brahmi ….a traditional and sacred herb used to cool and calm the mind. Excellent for alleviating typical Vata and Pitta symptoms of the mind such as agitation, impatience, stress and heated emotions.

This is a luxurious heart opening experience. The area of the chest directly above the heart is bathed in a warm concoction of ghee, milk and rose petals. This is a traditional Ayurvedic treatment for those suffering from eye diseases, vision impairment or simply stressed out, tired eyes. The eyes are bathed in warm medicated ghee that soothes and nourishes this very delicate organ.
Basti for the Back
This is a calming, rejuvenating treatment for any area of the back. A combination of therapeutic essential oils and warm medicated oil is concentrated on the area to soothe frazzled, stiff nerves and muscles.
A form of therapeutic bodywork that is designed to meet the unique needs of the pregnant woman. This specialty massage increases circulation which helps relieve muscle pain and joint stiffness. It is a great way to support the body and relax the mind during this physically and emotionally challenging time. Regular pregnancy massage can result in a faster recovery of energy and muscle tone after the birth.

This massage is aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia. It uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish massage, but the pressure will generally be more intense. It is also a more focused type of massage, as the therapist works to release chronic muscle tension in particular areas of concern.
A special form of massage that is typically used before, during, and after athletic events. The purpose of the massage is to prepare the athlete for peak performance, to drain away fatigue, to relieve swelling, to reduce muscle tension, to promote flexibility and to prevent injuries. (30min) $50
Bodywork which uses techniques for stretching the fascia and releasing bonds between fascia, integument, muscles, and bones. The fascia is manipulated, directly or indirectly, allowing the connective tissue fibers to reorganize themselves in a more flexible, functional fashion. The goals are the elimination of pain, increased range of motion and balance for the body.

Shiatsu is a Japanese word. It means 'finger pressure'. A Shiatsu treatment does however incorporate the use not only of finger pressure, but also thumbs, palms, knees, forearms, elbows and feet. Pressure is applied to the areas of energy lines (meridians) to promote good health by 'stimulating the body’s energy flow (Ki)'.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Sometimes called manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), is a gentle form of massage which stimulates the body's lymphatic system, allowing it to naturally circulate fluids and increase the body's metabolism and immune system. (60 min) $90
This procedure consists of facial massage followed by the administration (nasal) of specific herbal oils to cleanse and purify the sinuses. In Ayurveda, nasya is classically used to alleviate allergies, sinusitis, and headaches. This customized whole body cleanse is available only following a consultation and the recommendation of an Ayurvedic Practitioner. Pancha Karma is a deeply purifying and rejuvenating treatment program which can be of major assistance in restoring the body to balance. Under the guidance of an Ayurvedic practitioner, you will follow an individualized specific plan including a cleansing food program, lifestyle modifications and body therapies. These therapies may include abhyanga, shirodhara, swedana as well as others. They are intended to eliminate excess ama (toxins) and reduce the overaccumulation and imbalance of certain doshas.
