Gentle restorative yoga consists of easy movements, long stretches and deep breathing, perfect for relaxing in the middle of your day. It does not involve a great deal of physical exertion and is a restorative practice meant to calm, relax and revitalize.
With its emphasis on supported poses, this practice allows the body to enter the deep, restful state it craves.
This class is appropriate for yoga students of every size, age and fitness level. The poses are safe and perfect for beginners. Also, restorative poses are a fine complement to an active asana practice.
