In 2010 she went on to serve for two years in the Peace Corps, during which she developed her daily Ashtanga self-practice based on the primary series. After returning to the states, she went on to explore yoga therapy, energy healing, meditation, and variations of the traditional Ashtanga method. In 2013, Camille completed a 50-hour Intensive in Progressive Ashtanga Yoga (the Rocket) in Washington, D.C.
As her interest in the origins of Yoga deepened, so did her dedication to a daily Ashtanga practice. In July 2016, Camille made her first pilgrimage to study with Saraswathi Ragaswamy, daughter of K. Pattabhi Jois, in Mysore, India where she immersed herself in the study of asana, philosophy and Sanskrit.
Camille holds a Master’s degree in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard and a B.A. in Psychology from UCLA. Off the mat, Camille works as an education consultant, actor, and piano teacher.
